Luxury Resort Near Nagpur- Where Wilderness Meets Comfort

Luxury Resort Near Nagpur: Where Wilderness Meets Comfort

170 kilometres from Nagpur. 3.5 hours by road. A world away from everything ordinary.

Wildlife Luxuries is a 34-acre eco-luxury resort on the edge of Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary – home to Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and over 200 species of birds. Here, award-winning design meets untouched forest, private plunge pools sit beside jungle trails, and a nationally celebrated chef cooks over open flame using ingredients grown on the property.

This is not just a resort near Nagpur. This is the reason to leave the city.

The Ultimate Nagpur Weekend Escape

Nagpur has plenty of getaway options – farmstays, waterparks, mid-range jungle lodges. Wildlife Luxuries exists in a different category entirely.

Only 15 villas. No crowds, no queues, no noise. The entire property is designed for a sense of space and solitude. On any given day, you share the resort with a handful of other guests – if that.

Designed, not built. Every villa was created by award-winning designer Ariane Thakore Ginwala using local stone, reclaimed wood, and sustainable materials. The result won an ELLE DECO International Design Award – the same recognition given to properties many times its size and budget.

India’s first bio-pool. Forget chlorine. The bio-pool at Tipai uses aquatic plants and natural filtration to create a chemical-free swimming experience that’s gentle on skin and in harmony with its forest surroundings.

A celebrity chef on-site. Palaash, our signature restaurant, is led by Chef Amninder Sandhu, a national award winner and pioneer of open-fire cooking in India. Every meal is an event.

Real wildlife, real encounters. Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary is not a manicured park. It is 148 square kilometres of dense forest with a growing tiger population, and your safari here is private, guided by expert naturalists, without the “safari jams” common at Ranthambore or Tadoba.

Stay in Award-Winning Luxury

Forest Villas

The Tipai Forest Villa is a private retreat set within the tree line. Each villa features a sit-out that faces the forest, a spacious living room, a luxurious bathroom with an outdoor shower, and a bedroom where the sounds of the jungle are your alarm clock.

Built with local materials, stone from nearby quarries, wood sourced sustainably, fabrics chosen for texture and comfort- the Forest Villa feels rooted in its landscape rather than imposed upon it.

Pool Residences

The Tipai Pool Residence

The Tipai Pool Residence offers everything the Forest Villa does, plus a private plunge pool on your doorstep. The pool is bio-filtered safe for a sip and a swim and surrounded by a sun deck where you can read, nap, or simply watch the forest breathe.

For couples, honeymooners, or anyone who believes that the best luxury is private luxury, the Pool Residence is the choice.

Experiences That Define Your Stay

Private Safari at Tipeshwar

Your safari at Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary begins before dawn. A private jeep, an expert naturalist, and 148 square kilometres of forest where tigers, leopards, sloth bears, Indian gaur, nilgai, sambar, and wild dogs move through their territory undisturbed by crowds.

Morning safaris run from 6 AM to 10 AM. Evening safaris from 2 PM to 6 PM. The golden hour drives, when the forest is bathed in warm light and animals emerge from the afternoon heat, are particularly spectacular.

Dining at Palaash

Palaash – the flame of the forest is a dining experience unlike anything available near Nagpur. Chef Amninder Sandhu cooks with fire: wood, charcoal, and smoke transform ingredients from the resort’s permaculture gardens and nearby farms into dishes that are deeply local and quietly refined.

Dinner at Palaash is not just a meal. It is the reason many guests return.

Wellness and Relaxation

Wellness and Relaxation

The spa at Tipai offers therapies rooted in nature massages using local oils, treatments that draw on traditional healing practices, and a setting that does half the work before a therapist’s hands even begin.

Beyond the spa: sunrise yoga sessions, the bio-pool for a quiet morning swim, guided nature walks through the food forest and orchards, and a gym for those who prefer structured exercise.

Stargazing and Bonfire

Tipeshwar sits far enough from any city that the night sky is genuinely dark. After dinner, settle into a bonfire circle with a drink and look up. On clear nights, the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye. A stargazing deck and resident naturalists help you make sense of what you see.
