Imagine exchanging vows as the sun filters through a canopy of teak and bamboo. The air carries the scent of wildflowers. A peacock calls in the distance. Your closest family and friends are gathered on a forest lawn, and every detail: from the local blossoms in your centerpieces to the open-fire feast that follows – reflects who you are.
At Wildlife Luxuries, weddings are not events. They are experiences – intimate, unhurried, and set against one of India’s most breathtaking natural backdrops.

Why Tipai is Maharashtra’s Most Unique Wedding Destination
Most destination wedding venues offer a banquet hall with a view. Tipai offers something entirely different a 34-acre private sanctuary on the edge of Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary, where the setting itself becomes the celebration.
Exclusivity by design: With only 15 villas on the property, Tipai is built for intimacy. Your wedding party of 40 to 80 guests has the space to feel connected to each other and to the forest around them. Full property buyouts mean the entire resort is yours.
Award-winning architecture: Every structure at Tipai was designed by Ariane Thakore Ginwala, using local stone, reclaimed wood, and sustainable materials sourced from the surrounding villages. The design has been recognized with an ELLE DECO International Design Award and the Zee Zest Unlimited Award for Best Wildlife Resort.
An eco-luxury philosophy: From rainwater harvesting and permaculture gardens to a team drawn from the neighbouring village of Marathwakdi, sustainability is woven into every detail not as a compromise, but as a point of pride. Your celebration leaves a light footprint and a lasting memory.
Endorsed by those who know luxury. Tipai has been featured in Conde Nast Traveller India, Elle Decor, Grazia, and Outlook Traveller publications that set the standard for discerning travel.
Spaces That Tell Your Story

Every corner of Tipai offers a different mood, a different possibility for your celebration.
The Forest Lawn
An expansive green clearing framed by forest on three sides, the natural stage for your ceremony. As daylight fades, string lights and lanterns transform it into something that feels lifted from a dream.
The Poolside Deck
The bio-pool, India’s first chemical-free pool at a wildlife resort, and its surrounding deck create an elegant setting for cocktail hours, sangeet evenings, or a relaxed post-ceremony gathering.
Palaash
Our signature restaurant Palaash, helmed by national award-winning Chef Amninder Sandhu, becomes the setting for your rehearsal dinner or reception. Open-fire cooking, locally sourced ingredients, and a menu crafted around your story.
The Stargazing Deck
Far from city light pollution, the night sky at Tipai is extraordinary. An intimate blessing ceremony, a late-night champagne toast, or simply a quiet moment together under a blanket of stars.
Forest Pathways
Winding trails through teak and bamboo offer natural settings for couple portraits and bridal party photographs no staged backdrops needed.
A Bespoke Celebration, Curated For You
No two love stories are the same. Neither are any two weddings at Tipai. Our team works closely with you to design every element around your vision from the first welcome to the final farewell.
Before the Wedding
Your guests arrive to a welcome that sets the tone. An evening safari drives through Tipeshwar to spot wildlife. A welcome dinner at Palaash, where Chef Amninder prepares a menu inspired by the flavours of Vidarbha. Spa sessions and nature walks for those who want to unwind before the big day.
The Wedding Day
Your ceremony, your way, whether that means a traditional mandap on the forest lawn, an intimate registered gathering on the stargazing deck, or a fusion celebration that blends cultures and customs. Local artisans arrange decor using forest flowers, dried leaves, and natural materials that belong to this landscape.
The reception unfolds as a feast course prepared over open flame, paired with wines and cocktails, served under the canopy of the Tipeshwar sky. After dinner, a bonfire gathers your guests for stories, laughter, and dancing.
After the Wedding
Why leave? Begin your honeymoon exactly where the celebration ended. Wake up in a Pool Residence with your own private plunge pool, spend the morning on a couples’ safari, and let the spa at Tipai take care of the rest. Your guests, meanwhile, enjoy their own safari drives, nature walks, birdwatching, and bio-pool sessions, a luxury destination wedding that doubles as a holiday for everyone.
Where Your Guests Stay

Every guest at your wedding sleeps in the same luxury your celebration promises.
Forest Villas
Designed by Ariane Thakore Ginwala with local materials and jungle views, each Forest Villa features a private sit-out, a spacious living area, a luxurious bathroom with an outdoor shower, and a cosy bedroom that opens to the sounds of the forest.
Pool Residences
For the couple or VIP guests everything the Forest Villa offers, plus a private plunge pool filled with naturally filtered water. The perfect retreat within a retreat.
With 15 villas across the property, Tipai comfortably accommodates wedding parties of up to 80 guests while maintaining the intimate, unhurried feeling that makes a celebration here unlike anywhere else.
A Feast for the Senses
A wedding at Tipai is as much about what you taste as what you see.
Palaash, named after the flame of the forest is our signature dining experience. Chef Amninder Sandhu, a national award winner and one of India’s pioneers of open-fire cooking, crafts menus that celebrate the land. Ingredients are grown in our permaculture gardens or sourced from local farms. Every dish tells a story of this soil.
Your wedding menu is fully customisable from traditional Maharashtrian and Vidarbha cuisines to pan-Indian and Western options. Special dietary needs, allergies, and preferences are handled with care.
For more intimate meals, private dining can be arranged at your villa, by the pool, or under the stars.
